Teaching Experience for
Physics
I have been a high school teacher for thirty years. I am passionate that students learn to love Science and a sound grasp of key theories, models and laws. Attention to detail is critical; the memorisation of definitions, the identification of variables in equations. Associated with this detail is the development of skills to address exam style questions; the use of verb scaffolds and the ALARM model.
I have experience in assisting students from a wide variety of backgrounds; EALD students, gifted and talented students and students with difficulties in literacy.
