An actor and trainer of acting/dance/musical theatre - 30yrs in the biz.
Received acting education and training from Frank Ford, Uta Hagen, Williamson Esper (Bill). Offers many techniques for film and television as well as theatre. Spent some time in New York, acting under the mentorship of Robert Downey Jr and Matthew Broderick. Had roles in feature films "Bad Boy Bubby", "Shine" and later "Beautiful" working with Peta Wilson. For 4 years hosted national children’s television program "Here's Humphrey" and has worked on the multi award winning prime time drama "McLeods Daughters", children's television series "Chuck Finn", Australian television series "Wolf Creek" among others.

Many of Ambrae's students have worked in the industry gaining positions in companies, musical theatre, film and television. Ambrae has developed methods and syllabi for students and student teachers of performing arts and continues to mentor some of her students currently working in the industry.

Ambrae has worked in many areas of professional dance and acting for just over 3 decades, both performing and coaching. She began her career in theatre touring around Australia and overseas as a dancer: "Cats", "42nd Street", Channel 9 dancer, Kylie Minogue Impersonator and backup dancer to various pop groups. She spent some time in New York, acting under the mentorship of Robert Downey Jr and Matthew Broderick. She's had roles in feature films "Bad Boy Bubby", "Shine" and later "Beautiful" working with Peta Wilson.
