I have taught English at all levels including advanced. This level involves teaching more complex English grammar and idioms. At times it may not be easy to explain a certain grammar rule at an advanced level, but students tend to understand, at this level, the complexity of not only learning English but also teaching it.

Standard English is what I normally teach when commencing a new session. This is usually grammar based but can also be colloquial English. It depends on the learners' needs.

I have had experience teaching extension English when professionals of a non English background need to be taught specific terminology and colloquialism in a particular sector. Some examples of areas where I applied this teaching type are, medicine, legal, IT, and university assignments.

I have taught English at high schools in Italy and have taught English to students from overseas who were preparing for their high school experience in Australia. I have also taught English literature to university students in Italy.

I was one of the first English teachers in Italy to start training students for IELTS exams.

I do not have much experience in teaching TOEFL but I am familiar with what is involved in TOEFL teaching as it was part of the Diploma of TESOL course I have recently completed. TOEFL is more grammar oriented and is suitable for students who need an academic type of English study.
