I am an Early Intervention teacher who has been working with children with disabilities under the age of 8 for over 30 years. More recently, I have been supporting children with disabilities in their transition to primary school, and also their reading and numeracy skills within a home and classroom setting. I have recently undertaken further study in Positive Behaviour Support, Literacy Difficulties in the Classroom, Autism, and First Language and Literacy Acquisition. In 2019, I completed 9 months tutoring for a not-for-profit tutoring group, focussing on literacy and numeracy of children on the Autism Spectrum
