I have been teaching EFL for over 8 years and during that time have worked in many areas, including Business English, English for Academic Purposes and General English programs. I have worked with international students from many backgrounds from near Beginners to Advanced level. I am passionate about teaching and committed to helping students achieve their goals. I enjoy communicating with international students and have a deep understanding of the problems faced by them.

Students engaged in studies for Higher Education have specific needs apart from the acquisition of communicative language. In addition to the basic requirements for being able to communicate they must acquire familiarity with academic conventions and a high standard for the accompanying vocabulary. My commitment to this area is high and I have written and produced a number of materials that have helped learners achieve their aims in the pressured environment of tertiary education.
