I am a professional music educator with over 37 years teaching experience across a number of private, secondary and tertiary-level organisations in Sydney and Melbourne. My teaching includes lectures, tutorials and masterclasses on music theory, arranging, orchestration, composition, ear training, songwriting, digital technology, postgraduate thesis supervision and research methodology.

I have taught music classes at the Australian Institute of Music (AIM) in Sydney and Melbourne, Sydney Conservatorium of Music, University of Western Sydney and Macquarie University. At present, I am the instructor for the Arranging: Advanced Horn Writing course for Berklee Online which is part of the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA.

I have performed in Australia for live concert tours, TV, CDs, recording sessions and major theatrical productions including The Temptations, Go West, Tom Jones, Debbie Reynolds, Australian Idol, The Midday Show, Billy Elliot, Mamma Mia, Priscilla - Queen of the Desert, The Bodyguard, Leo Sayer, Marcia Hines, Shannon Noll, Margaret Urlich, Wendy Matthews, James Morrison, John Foreman and Wa Wa Nee among many others.
